Do you think Adsense is a waste of time ?

If you think it’s rubbish, then maybe it is rubbish. But I Don’t think that it’s rubbish.

Reading this I must say I’m surprised. People are running a very small blog or forum (Lets hope 350 members, 50 real active, 70.000-100.000 pageviews each month) and They are making give or take $35 a month so far (which would make up for 1 quarter of a dedicated server costs).

 

If someone have 3.500 members / 500 active. I’d say $350 a month wouldn’t be that bad at all! When I see forums having thousands and thousands of members and millions of pageviews each month I think some people make a living running their forums!

Adsense earning depends on the topic and who are visiting your site.

Let’s Assume a case of newer bike model, and the visitors are generally new enthusiastic riders who are more than willing to spend the money to modify their new bike. If you’re covering something new, you may get a lot of traffic but that doesn’t necessarily return a high click through rate because your audience may not fit that “online-shopping” profile.
